Last year we “challenged students to live a life turned inside out for Christ.” Building on that challenge, this year we desire to lead and equip students, adult helpers and youth ministers to go deeper in their prayer life. To know that you can stand before a loving God, through Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit and actually speak to God and hear His voice is an awesome thing. But, I have never heard a 7th grader say it that way, or a 12th grader for that matter. Your students will focus on 3 aspects of Prayer, Praise in Prayer, Petition in Prayer, and the Practice of Prayer. While at MOG/WOG it is our hope that your students will be able to say “I have been challenged in my prayer life.” After going home it’s our hope your students are leaders in Prayer.

Imagine your youth room full of your students standing together praying. Praying for their families to be God centered, for boldness to share Christ with their friends, for Sunday School teachers, school teachers, for the worship to be real and an aroma to God, for the youth minister to convey what God has given in a clear and understanding way. For few youth ministers this is reality, for most it’s a dream. Your students will never get there unless you are the one leading and equipping them to have an active prayer life. We truly are praying for you, your students, and adult helpers. It is our hope and desire that “iPray” will be a catalyst to ignite a passion of prayer in you and your students.
